While talking to the host of the Great Day Houston, the Schwarzenegger daughter confessed why she would not like to be a great actor like the two famous men in her life.

When the host asked Katherine about following in her parent’s footsteps, Katherine quickly replied, “Definitely not acting. I can’t keep a straight face that’s the problem.” Besides this, Katherine also declined to ever get into politics. “Politics, I am staying way out of it,” added Katherine.

Neither her mother Maria Shriver’s Kennedy family connection nor her father’s former Governor of California career seems to have intrigued Katherine’s political interests. In the past as well, Katherine disclosed another reason why she never wanted to follow her parent’s careers.

Katherine’s reasons for declining matching career paths as her parents

After living with her famous actor-father, Katherine now shares a house with actor-husband Chris Pratt. Hence, the author reasoned that living in the same environment for years has taken her interest away from acting.

Katherine also felt that growing up with parents famous in their respective fields makes a person either love or hate their job. And seems like the writer has chosen the latter. It is also why the Schwarzenegger daughter dislikes politics and never wishes to build her career in the field.
