4-time Olympia winner, Jay Cutler is a bodybuilding legend who has established himself as one of the best in the field. With a net worth of more than $20 million, Cutler is one of the wealthiest bodybuilders today. Moreover, in a 2014 interview, Cutler once told interesting anecdotes and facts about his amazing car collection. He disclosed the real reason why he remains careful while buying cars though he can easily afford expensive cars. 

Jay Cutler’s statements about his cars show that buying cars is not easy, even for the rich and one should think like a common person while buying cars. The bodybuilder also revealed his favorite car and which is the dream car that he wishes to buy. 

Jay Cutler unravels the mystery behind his approach to cars  

“I look at what is feasible and practical for me”, Cutler stated in the 2014 interview. Continuing, Cutler added, “It’s kind of one of those things, like, why have all these vehicles and have to pay for registration and insurance and all this stuff when I never get to drive, being as I travel so much.” This reflects Cutler’s rational approach, where he determines whether he wants a specific car.   

The champion bodybuilder also remarked that his first car was a dark red Toyota Corolla. When asked about his favorite car, Cutler replied that it was a Porsche. He also expressed that his dream was to buy a Porsche Carrera GT which cost around than $300,000.

Cutler recalled how he bought a Mazda RX7 before the age of 20. The bodybuilder divulged that he owned a 740 BMW, a 750 BMW, Jaguars, Porsche, and two Hummer Trucks. Cutler also unfolded the story of his huge excitement for an H2 Hummer which Mark Danley bought for him. Jay then related that he went to San Juan Capistrano for the car dealership. 

The 4x Mr. Olympia revealed that he began spending huge amounts of money on cars after he began earning well. 

Jay Cutler’s surprising statements about cars 

Many consider Lamborghini as their favorite car and dream of owning one. However, Jay Cutler once recalled that driving Lamborghini was not an enjoyable experience for him. Further, Cutler also remarked that he couldn’t fit well in some cars such as the Porsche Turbo 911 due to his size.
