Four-time World’s Strongest Man championship winner Brian Shaw surprised the community with his retirement news in January 2023. The 41-year-old revealed that this year’s WSM would be his last world championship. He suffered a nasty leg infection that forced his decision. However, after securing the seventh position, Shaw is currently exploring new adventures. Recently, he toured the Myrtle Beach Safari with his best buddy Eddie Hall. Before setting out for the big day, the 2017 WSM took jibes at the retired strongman.
On April 29. Brian Shaw shared a safari vlog on his YouTube channel with Hall. Although the video was filled with adventure, Hall joked about taking Shaw to a place where he deserves to live post-retirement.

This may not really be the end of Shaw’s competing days. After participating in the WSM 2023 in April for the last time, the 41-year-old will conclude his strongman career at the Shaw Classic, which will be held in August.
Shaw iterated his desire of participating in his self-found championship in a video in February.
