Chris Bumstead couldn’t stop from appreciating what he saw
Chris Bumstead’s brother-in-law and former coach, Iain Valliere, is a 2020 New York Pro and 2021 Texas Pro winner. Moreover, he stood as runner-up in the 2021 Arnold Classic. Indeed, the IFBB professional open division bodybuilder and coach from Canada has improved the degree of his physique in the past year.

When Bumstead saw the flexed pictures of Iain, he appreciated his gym partner’s hard work. Bumstead shared Iain’s post on his story and wrote, “well damn…”.

The 32-year-old with an immense physique has an arm size of 22″ and a 51″ chest. Whereas he weighs around 117-120kg (258-265lbs) with a height of 5’10”. Notably, Bumstead has more titles than Valliere. It was Valliere who introduced Bumstead to bodybuilding.
Bumstead’s introduction into the bodybuilding stage
Chris Bumstead was born in Ottawa, Canada. Although he was conscious of his physique from his teenage days but didn’t know much about bodybuilding. He used to keep up with his robust physique by playing football, basketball, and track and field sports. But it changed once his sister’s boyfriend, back then, introduced him to bodybuilding.

There was no looking back from there. Valliere helped him prepare for competitions in 2014. And he got to compete in his first pro competition two years later, in 2016, when he won IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championships. He liked the Classic Physique and stood as runner-up two years in a row before winning the title three years in a row.

Being training partners is all about pushing and appreciating each other’s improvements. Chris Bumstead appreciated Iain’s gains with an appreciation story. After all, he is the one who guided Bumstead through the sport when he was just a beginner.
