Arnold Schwarzenegger may have retired from competitive bodybuilding in 1980, but decades after his retirement, the Austrian Oak still lives for the pump. He encourages his dedicated fans to join the Arnold’s Pump Club and subscribe to his free newsletter. Pump Daily is the Austrian’s noble attempt to give something back to people in the form of making fitness tips accessible. The positive corner of the internet has already changed lives and stories about his subscribers regularly feature in his newsletter. Amidst all this, Schwarzenegger sat for an interview to spend a few minutes promoting his new Netflix action-comedy series FUBAR.

Inspired by his 1994 hit film Tue Lies, FUBAR is set to release on May 25th, 2023. After staying away from the reel world for years, Schwarzenegger is ready to get back in action. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Schwarzenegger revealed how he is gearing up for his upcoming role. Though many believed Schwarzenegger has retired from the acting world, Arnie claims, “Well, remember, older people don’t retire. They just reload.”

The bodybuilder is now relying majorly on supplements to reload his muscles. As a believer in good food, Schwarzenegger enhances them with additional supplements. He elaborated, “I rely a little bit on supplements because, like I said, they’re called supplements to supplement really good food.” However, there are things he has cut down on as well. He further told FND, “I’ve cut down my meat intake considerably by 70% or so.”

Further, Schwarzenegger believed it is healthier to eat plant-based food more, at his age, instead of meat. He added that since raising livestock contributes to 28% of pollution, it’s better to cut down on meat intake. This way will not only help an individual’s health but that of the environment as a whole too. This isn’t the first time Schwarzenegger has shown concern for the environment. For years now, the Austrian Oak has been advocating the concerns surrounding climate change.
