However, after his seventh and final Mr. Olympia win in 1980, the bodybuilding legend decided to pursue acting full-time. He gained fame after Conan the Barbarian did well at the box office. However, in 1984, Schwarzenegger starred in a role that would propel him to global superstardom. The Terminator (1984) became an iconic movie franchise that’s still as popular as ever. In 2015, Schwarzenegger decided to reprise his role in a different setting.
Earlier, the bodybuilding icon shared a video on Twitter. It was a video of the seven-time Mr. Olympia stepping into the shoes of his iconic character, but this time it was for a prank. It was a prank to support a charitable cause.

One of the most iconic one-liners in cinema history is Arnold Schwarzenegger saying, “I’ll be back,” in his Austrian accent. In 2015 Arnie came back to reprise his role as the T-800 in Terminator Genesys. However, before the film premiered, Schwarzenegger dressed up as the Terminator and replaced his wax statue at Hollywood’s famous Madame Tussauds wax museum.
As unsuspecting fans posed alongside him to take pictures, Schwarzenegger sprung into action, freaking them out. From families to couples to parents out with their kids, Schwarzenegger gave the most terrifying yet fantastic surprise to those who went up to him think he was a wax statue. Madame Tussauds is famous for its lifelike wax statues, which helped Schwarzenegger blend in.

“He looks real,” said one visitor as she approached the Terminator actor. “Because I am,” said the bodybuilding legend. He also took to the streets of Hollywood, surprising tourists who gathered around him once they realized who he was. Arnold Schwarzenegger shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “I can’t tell you how much fun I had doing this.” However, he played the prank to promote a charity.
The quest to terminate a concerning issue
Arnold Schwarzenegger played the prank to promote his charity After-School All-Stars. The bodybuilding legend set up the charity three decades ago to help underprivileged children with after-school activities. According to Schwarzenegger, 70% of American children have working parents and spend time after school alone.

Every year, the bodybuilding legend does various things to raise money for his after-school program. While he went undercover as the Terminator in 2015, he has also gone undercover as a trainer at Gold’s Gym and ran over things with his M47 tank.
