In the recent series of events, Sergio Olivia Jr., a professional IFBB bodybuilder has been put behind the bars in Dubai. The bodybuilder was detained in a hit-and-run accident and was found with alleged possession of prohibited substances. The news that has come hot off the press has left the bodybuilding community in quite a shock. 

Sergio allegedly hit a man on a motorcycle in Dubai. While the professional bodybuilder went home after the accident, things escalated dramatically for him during the later hours. Here’s everything you want to know about the recent turn of events.

The accident happened last week when the professional bodybuilder got into an accident with a delivery executive on a motorbike. After the unfortunate turn of events, the conditions for the delivery executive worsened and unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries later. 

Sergio got a call-out from the police authorities who took him for a drug test. While the results of the test haven’t been made public by the authorities, Sergio has been jailed for now. According to the famous YouTube channel Bodybuilding & BS, Sergio would probably have to go through the trial process in Dubai.

Sergio was preparing to participate in the Arnold Classic, in Brazil. However, with the latest developments, things are hazy for the professional bodybuilder. Sergio is known for his clean and drug-free lifestyle. However, only time will tell how the further proceedings will unfold in the future.
