Hall implied that for him, it wasn’t just about competing with Thor.
“I just wanted to punch him in the face”, he admitted. Continuing, he indicated that he was ready to fight with Bjornsson anywhere.Later, responding to the question of whether there was still animosity between them he said, “We’re not friends. Let’s put it that way.” Further, he gave his opinion that both of them didn’t intend to be friends which was fine with him.
Afterwards, he elaborated, “He’s got his beliefs that he was cheated and I’ve got my beliefs that I beat him fair and square.” According to a report by Talksport, Bjornsson also accused Hall and the referee named Colin Bryce of cheating in the World’s Strongest man competition. This wasn’t the only time Hall spoke about Bjornsson. Before this, when Hall lost the boxing match to Bjornsson on 19th March 2022 in Dubai, he gave a public statement about the fight and Bjornsson.

Further, he said, “I want to take this opportunity to say what a great strongman you are, or were.” Hall also appreciated Bjornsson due to his massive accomplishments, calling him a “phenomenon.”
