However, despite having a staunch vocation as a health and fitness coach, the legend has recently shown his excitement for a new sporting realm, which is disparate from his beloved arena of bodybuilding

Recently, the Sultan of Symmetry pulled off the curtains from his aspirations of entering into the world of extreme sports. More so, Wheeler is nothing but elated about a career in bull wrestling.

In his latest Instagram story, the 4x Arnold Classic champion expressed his zeal for pro bull wrestling. He re-shared the reel posted by an MMA fan page on his story. In the reel, a man can be seen indulging in a savage face-off with a bull, and at the end of their wrestling session, the man diligently controls the raging bull and wins the fight. Captioning the post, the fan page wrote, “Real talk: who thinks they could pull this off??

Impressed by the clip, the Sultan of Symmetry shows his enthusiasm to switch his career from bodybuilding to bull wrestling. Posting the clip, the 57-year-old joked, “really happy to announce I’m going back into a new sport. Pro bull wrestling🤣.”

However, it is not the first time that the legend voiced his fascination with competitive contact sports. His love for combat sports hails back to when he was just a kid.

Wheeler’s love for competitive fighting paved the way for his career in bodybuilding

When Wheeler was just a teen, he started training in martial arts. Nonetheless, his sole reason to join the combat sporting world was to fight off his bullies. “I couldn’t bring myself to hit people on the street. If we are in a ring then it’s combat. I love combat”, stated Wheeler. However, while lifting weights and following several workout routines demanded by the martial arts disciplines, Wheeler’s interest got piqued by bodybuilding.

Following this, he stepped into the bodybuilding realm and set on his voyage to reach the pinnacle of the fitness industry. Although the 4x Arnold Classic champion picked martial arts to pursue as a profession, the sport later macadamized his way to becoming a legendary bodybuilder. Now, the bull wrestling domain is divergent from that of combat sports. However, it piqued the bodybuilder’s interest, and he joked about joining the competitive contact sport domain once again.
