The years the ‘incredible Hulk’ spent as Mr. Universe, his work as a personal trainer and fitness adviser, comedic sitcoms, and movies all have contributed to the legends’ wealth. In addition, in 2020, he sold his house in Santa Monica for a whopping amount.
Lou Ferrigno selling his house for more
The Santa Monica home, owned by Lou Ferrigno for decades, returned to the market in mid-March. However, he sold for $3.25 million. The English Revival-style house moved from pending to sold in just three weeks as it got scheduled.
The two-story house has oak wood floors, carpet padding and plaster walls, and portrait windows providing a magnificent interior view. It is hidden behind a white picket fence. Five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a living room with a pitched roof, and a dining room are all included in the 3,400 sq ft of living space. Off the modernized kitchen, there is a breakfast area.
According to Mr. Lascano, the lot size is substantial for Santa Monica at about 9,000 square feet. Many older homes are being demolished and rebuilt in the neighborhood area with new, larger dwellings. Ferrigno and his wife Carla have resided in the home since 1980. The time they brought the house, it cost them $547,000. The couple enjoyed the house since it was close to the beach and filming locations when Mr. Ferrigno worked for his series, The Incredible Hulk.
The reason why Lou sold the house
Lou and his wife spend a great time with their three children there. In addition, the couple brought home in Northern California with around 6 acres. But, as per Mansion Global, Lou added that he wants an extra room in his house for some extra work. This additional work is related to his woodworking love and to store the collection of his things. That’s one of the main reasons why Lou sold the house in Santa Monica.
