Bodybuilding Legend Flex Wheeler Responds to the Person Calling Him “F***ing Monkey” for Carrying a Gun to the Gym

Flex Wheeler gives a classy reply

The incident happened recently when Flex posted a video on his social media account. A gun tucked in his track pants grabbed people’s attention. While many fans used unique ways to express their confusion, a man went ahead and called him a monkey. “Why do you need a gun in the gym, you fu**ng monkey”, the man commented. 

This kind of racial slur is both deeply offensive and completely inappropriate, but rather than lashing out or becoming aggressive, Flex shared the comment on his Instagram story and simply replied, “Wow, Thank You for sharing your thoughts.” He further added the reason for his calm attitude. “I’ve learned that everyone is entitled to their own opinion”, Wheeler wrote.

This response is a perfect example of how to handle a difficult situation with grace and dignity. Flex could have easily responded with anger or hate, but instead, he chose to take the higher road and responded with elegance.
