The bodybuilding sphere has witnessed several inspirational features of father-son duos. Bodybuilding legend Sergio Olivia is one bright example, with his son, Sergio Olivia Jr., following in his footsteps into the sport. However, an interesting pair (father and son-in-law) recently surprised the community with their endeavor. NPC athlete, Kevin Kaczmarek and his son-in-law took over the NPC Mid-Michigan Bodybuilding Championship stage together on Friday, per ABC12 News.

The two participated in the event side-by-side and garnered much attention from fans and the media. Former bodybuilder, Kaczmarek, got back to the stage after a long hiatus of 25 years. He was urged by his son-in-law, Hamza Hmaidi, to bounce back to his shredded physique for one last time.

According to the ABC12 News publication, Kaczmarek retired from the sport two decades ago and also suffered a severe injury. However, Hmaidi managed to convince him to train for the upcoming Mid-Michigan event. Thus, the duo worked out for months to achieve their desired frames and took part in the competition together.

Stand on the same page together, as far as me finishing up a bodybuilding career, as an amateur, what a way to do it in my own hometown,” the former athlete said. It was a special moment for the family as it reflected their tight-knit bond. Hence, son-in-law, Hmaidi shared, “To be on stage with him so we could show the grandkids, we were all together.”
