There are tons of famous bodybuilders in the world. Beginning with Arnold Schwarzenegger to Chris Bumstead, we have seen many bodybuilders doing intense workouts in the gym to build their iron-like physiques. However, there is an Australian man who focuses on multiplying his strength, physical fortification, and intense powerlifting. In addition, he is not a professional bodybuilder but looks nothing less than them. Tom Haviland is a massive 6’8″ tall powerlifter who never shows his face in his videos, but his physique does all the talking.

Let us have a look at some of the insane lifts and workouts that he uploads on his Instagram account.

Tom Haviland first came to attention when the powerlifting prodigy Josh Bryant shared his video on YouTube in 2014. In the video, Haviland was deadlifting 710 lbs. It hyped the attention of Haviland, and later he shared his journey through his Instagram account. However, the beast has grown since then, and now he has become stronger and lifts even heavier.

In a video compilation of his intense lifts, YouTuber, and bodybuilding coach, Zack Telander reacted to his lifts. The 385 lbs Haviland stunned Zack in many instances. The heavyweight he lifts with a clean posture and with different variations for different muscle groups. Let’s have a look at the few workouts he does and the weight he lifts.

The heavy workouts done by Tom Haviland in the video are as follows:

  1. Walked with a 1200 lbs yoke on his shoulders.
  2. 235 lbs bicep curls
  3. 626 lbs zercher carry for 2 sets of 30 seconds with slow continuous walking.
  4. Yoke Hise Shrug for 4 sets of 10 reps
  5. 275 lbs stone to shoulder, 5 paces and squats, and 1 set on each side of 4 squats
  6. 926 lbs deadlift (which he began with 710 lbs in 2014)
  7. Sled side walk Talls for 4 sets of 10 steps each way with 346.8 lbs
  8. 692 lbs squats
  9. Clean to zercher catch with a squat 308 lbs, 396 lbs, 485 lbs

The lifts that he does are simply extraordinary. Moreover, he has built his physique with such a strong foundation that he can pull off all this heavy lifting.

Although Haviland lifts extremely high weights, once Frank Zane, the 3x Mr. Olympia opened up about the adverse effects of lifting heavy that he suffered in his life.
