In light of this, he recently took to Instagram to spread an important message to deal with incorrect behavior at gyms.

In addition to sharing the Tweet, Wheeler added a caption: “Please share and tag your gym.” As stern as it sounds, capturing images of people in a private space like a gym with ill intentions could hurt their morale. Hence, it warrants serious actions against such behaviors.
In 2023 gyms need to start enforcing policy that if you’re caught taking photos or videos of someone without their consent to post on social media to bully, shame, or embarrass them, your membership is automatically revoked and you’re banned from the gym. Gyms need to do better.

Undoubtedly, Wheeler’s move to enlighten the gym owners is not only inspiring but also a reminder of every gym goer’s responsibility. He also discourages any behavior that stops a gym from being someone’s safe space.
Unwritten rules in the gym
Undeniably, a gym is the most visited place for an athlete. Besides, a gym is more than just a place to work out. Understanding that it is a space shared by different people, it is crucial to maintain decorum to ensure its smooth functioning. Among the unwritten rules shared on his Instagram post, Wheeler strictly advised against flirting in the gym.
