1960s marked a naturally occurring genetic mutation in a litter of cats that gave rise to a separate breed called the sphynx cats. These cats have always astounded people with their typical hairless looks. Recently, a sphynx cat gained attention on social media not for its furless appearance but for its shredded physique. Moreover, the rare sight gained massive traction from netizens as they expressed their puzzled reactions to it. 

A few weeks ago, a catto Instagram page, cats.all.day, shared a video of the muscular sphynx cat performing a ‘back day’ like the ordinary bodybuilders do. Netizens went berserk watching the video while drawing out parallels of the cat with that of a gym freak. 

A sphynx cat giving tough competition to the bodybuilders

The furless feline is seen standing while resting his front paws on a cupboard. It looked like the adorable creature was exercising his back since the muscles on its shoulders and back looked highly shredded. The Instagram page added a caption with the video, “Everyday is back day for this lad. 👀💪🏋️‍♂️”

Carefree of being recorded, the sphynx cat peacefully licked its elbows with his eyes closed. Nevertheless, the Instagram page gave credits to the true owner of the video who is a cosmetologist woman in Russia. She houses a pair of sphynx cats and has a dedicated Instagram page for the special breed named sphynx.nsk. Apparently, the rightful owner revealed that her catto boy goes by the name, Alex.

Netizens relate the sphynx cat to the bodybuilders’ energy

The comment section of the video saw several bodybuilding and cat lovers express their take on the unique cat video. 

Relating the cat to a bodybuilder, a follower wrote, “I don’t know whether to pet him or ask him for the gym routine”

Another user added to the fun and assumed that the cat consumed creatine, “Bro it’s just creatine.” Someone wrote that the cat worked out bench press, “Cat bench 250 20 times”

Netizen did not fail to notice his muscles, “the heck he has more shoulder muscles than I am”

Moreover, most followers envied the cat’s strength and desired to follow the same routine as him, 

“I need his gym routine damn.” Another one wrote, “I kno the lord of destruction when I see him”
