Awodibu opened up about an unplanned competition schedule that affected his prep for Mr. Olympia 2022. “I definitely lost some muscle mass, and I didn’t have enough time to fill out my physique before the Olympia.” Awodibu wrote in the caption. The IFBB pro said taking three months off after winning the Indy Pro and New York Pro was a mistake.
Instead of beginning another prep for the Arnold Classic, Awodibu wants to focus on rebuilding his physique. Blessing Awodibu wrote, “I’m just giving my body the much-needed time to bring my shape back before any prep.”
Blessing Awodibu also assured his fans
Despite the upsetting announcement, the New York Pro winner concluded the caption on a positive note. Awodibu wrote that fans could expect a “crazy comeback later this year.” Before last year’s Mr. Olympia, The Boogieman was confident he would beat Nick Walker. While he couldn’t beat Walker, Awodibu aims to come back stronger.
