Apart from being the King of the bodybuilding world, Ronnie Coleman is a loving husband and a doting father. His first marriage, with French-Lebanese trainer Rouaida Christine Achkar, was not long-lived and ended soon after they tied the knot. However, he found his life partner in Susan Williamson in 2016, and the couple has been going strong ever since. They also have four daughters together. As 2023 marks seven years of their time together, Coleman has taken the opportunity to appreciate the woman who stood by him through thick and thin.

Earlier today, The King took to his Instagram to share a heartwarming post about his wife. Along with revealing how the duo plans to spend their anniversary, Coleman thanked Williamson for everything she has done for him.

On 17th April 2023, Ronnie Coleman shared a photo with his wife, where the duo was posing together in front of their car. In the post’s caption, Coleman mentioned that on their seventh anniversary, they’re heading out for dinner. The dinner will be followed by the movie night, where they’ll watch Creed III together. Opening up about his relationship, Coleman wrote in the caption, “We have now been married for a total of seven years and I can say it’s been seven of the greatest years of my life.”

He added, “By far this woman is the best thing that has ever happened to me, along with our four girls of course. God has a way of bringing people together for a specific reason. Ours has been a journey filled with happiness and pure joy. Thank you my love for all you have done for me.”

Being a personal trainer, Williamson, too, belongs to the fitness world just like Coleman. It might’ve been their common love for fitness and training that brought them together. But interestingly, Ronnie Coleman once revealed he doesn’t prefer working out with his wife.

Ronnie Coleman does not like to train with his wife

Though Williamson was Coleman’s trainer before they tied the knot, the couple no longer train together regularly. In an interview with Bodybuilding.com in 2019, Coleman revealed that it was because of the difference in their workout capacity.

Ronnie Coleman claimed that owing to Susan Williamson’s small frame, she lifts smaller weights compared to him. This becomes a hassle if they train together and have put on and off the weights if they use the machines alternatively between their reps.
