Starting from life-altering kidney conditions to getting his right leg amputated, he’s experienced it all. Yet, the icon’s staggering motivation is phenomenal. Thus, the bodybuilding community often seeks his precious expertise in life. Recently, he enlightened his fans with a motivational video shedding light on life’s hurdles and how to approach them with positivity.

In a recent Instagram post, Wheeler shared a brief snippet on tackling the problems life throws at you, and being successful. Additionally, he spoke about his pursuit of changing the world.

As per the social media update, The Sultan of Symmetry presented glimpses of his life, where he encountered several challenges yet rose above it all. His illustrious powerlifting career was repeatedly hindered by health concerns. Nevertheless, it couldn’t dim his zeal for life. “I’m one of those weirdos that think that we can change the world if we unite. And I really believe that,” he admitted in the video while his caption stated, “I’ve spent the past decade figuring out how to work past barriers.”

Besides this, the 57-year-old icon spoke in his calm voice, saying, “We’re all in this game called life and it’s difficult. Life’s gonna be difficult.” His revelations were focused on the well-being of the mass collectively. The former athlete seemed quite concerned for everyone and wished everybody could learn from his experiences. Thus, he added, “Life’s gonna do you lemons. I just try to make lemonade out of those lemons and serving back sweet to people so they don’t have to go through what I went through.”

Further iterating his love for all, Wheeler urged others to take his cup of knowledge and make the best of it. “Hey, take my knowledge and my cup and drink from it so you don’t have to bump your head and go do those things,” the four-time Arnold Classic winner disclosed. It is not difficult to understand where this retrospection is stemming from. Wheeler’s battle with health is not yet over. Last month, he shared an update disclosing another of his health struggles. 

Flex Wheeler’s latest update on health concerns

Taking to his Instagram, the bodybuilder shared that he had been facing a difficult time training at the gym. He revealed that his left rotator cuff was injured once again, while his right side remains unrecovered. Still, he went about his gym workout completely relying on his right shoulder.

Therefore, the 5’9 star athlete spoke on the matter, “So, again, hurdles in life, man. I went to the gym, I just trained using my right shoulder, not using my left because I just tore it again. There’s always going to be some reason why you can’t do something.”
