As the interview revealed, at 1-year-old, Barkley was abandoned by his father, leaving his mother and granny to fend for themselves. ?I was very angry. And I was even angrier cause he kept sayin’ he was gonna send us money, and he didn’t do it,??he recounted. Interestingly,?he derived his forthright demeanor?from his granny.
