The MCU superhero with prodigious healing abilities, steely sharp claws, and a physique that stunned the Marvel fans – that’s Wolverine. The Marvel comic character, ‘the Wolverine’ got its movie adaptation as a spin-off of the X-Men series in the year 2013. Following the premiere of the movie, Marvel fans had nothing but a hoard full of praise for the Australian actor, Hugh Jackman, for his commendable performance as Wolverine. Now, a decade later, ‘the Greatest Showman’ actor has again girded up his lions to appear on the white proscenium curtains as ‘Logan-the Mutant’. Nevertheless, he credited a major part of his character to none other than the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ‘Pumping Iron’.

If you have watched ‘the Wolverine’ then you must be aware of the ripped abs and muscular frame of Jackman’s character. Now, as the Australian is making a comeback to give yet another nail-biting performance, fans are intrigued about how the 54-year-old managed to develop such an impressive physique. Interestingly, recently, the actor pulled off the curtains and gave away his inspiration for building an aesthetic stature.

Recently, Hugh Jackman appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, where he profoundly chatted about his character Wolverine. At one point, Jackman’s co-guest, Michael B. Jordan, asked him about the secret behind his ripped physique. On this, the 54-year-old stated, “bodybuilders will always say their body is 70% their diet and only 30% they are training”.

Mentioning his tutelage that he took from the Austrian Oak’s 1977 film, Jackman asserted, “I assumed it was all about Pumping Iron.” Detailing several tidbits about bodybuilding, the actor added, “It’s a science. The whole eating thing is a science and I complain about it all day long. I’m in this thing right now where I’m eating 5000 calories a day”.

Expressing his elation for Jackman’s stature, the ‘Black Panther actor conceded, “every actor wanted to mimic what he did” in ‘the Wolverine’. Nonetheless, besides the collaboration between Deadpool and the Wolverine, fans are excited to see Hugh Jackman in all his glory.

Ryan Reynolds and Jackman to set new box office records with their 2024 project

Last year, the Greatest Showman actor caused a stir among fans by announcing his comeback as ‘the Wolverine’. More so, the Australian joined forces with the Canadian-American actor, Ryan Reynolds, for making a grand return as the MCU superhero. Certainly, Jackman and Reynolds are all set to make a big splash in theatres with their 2024 movie ‘Deadpool 3’. Following the announcement of the third installment of the Deadpool franchise, Marvel comic penchants are nothing but delighted with the news.

Though the 54-year-old already gave a glimpse of what is awaiting his fans next year, spectators and critics are exuberant to witness the iconic duo on the screen.
