Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter and Son-in-Law Chris Pratt Kept a Big Secret From Dad Because of His ‘Blowing Up’ Nature

On May 24th this year, bodybuilding icon Arnold Schwarzenegger became grandfather once again. His daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger and son-in-law Chris Pratt were blessed with another baby girl. However, until the child was born, the couple kept the baby’s gender a secret from grandfather Arnold. Does that mean they didn’t trust him on this? Or is Terminator not good with secrets?

The moment Arnold Schwarzenegger heard the news about his daughter’s second child, he was so excited. According to the former governor of California, being a granddad is the easiest job in the world. Arnold knows his way around the people, and perhaps his children and grandchildren are no exception. However, now that he has two granddaughters to take care of, it would be interesting to see how he manages the added responsibility.

Why did Katherine and Chris hide their child’s gender from Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Well, from the confidence and excitement, it seems Arnold is good at being a granddad. However, what made Katherine and Chris Pratt hide the gender details of their second child from him? The seven times Mr. Olympia revealed in an interview, “I really don’t know. But I do blow it a lot of time, because I can’t shut my mouth.”

Who would have expected Arnold Schwarzenegger would be a blabbermouth? Though he further explained, “It could easily be that they know, I don’t know, I don’t think so, because my wife never wanted to know. It was always a guessing kind of a game. I think because Katherine is a lot like Maria, she will probably go in the same direction and not want to know.”

Another baby girl for Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger

‘Jurassic World’ actor Chris and Arnold’s daughter announced the good news on Instagram a month ago. They wrote, “We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well.” It’s good to see how they already had a name for the baby. Perhaps they would have discussed that with Arnold, or maybe not?

With two granddaughters, the bodybuilding legend’s responsibilities have doubled now. Though unlike any other role in his life, he’ll surely excel at this one as well.
