Joseph Baena, the 25-year-old son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, shares his father’s love for exercising. While the Austrian Oak’s youngest son doesn’t have the ambition to become a professional bodybuilder like his father, Baena wants to build an aesthetic physique. Blessed with Arnie’s genetics, many might say he has already accomplished his goal. However, the young actor is working harder in the gym than he has done in the past. Earlier, Baena shared his “killer” bodybuilding workout with his Instagram fans.

In recent times, acting has become the priority for Joseph Baena. However, he also wants to improve his physique and get the superhero look. While Baena has been posting a lot of bodybuilding content lately, even his fans can benefit from his latest video.

In his latest Instagram reel, the seven-time Mr. Olympia’s son showed fans what his pull-day looks like. The video started with the 25-year-old hitting one of his father’s famous classic poses that shows off the back, lats, and biceps. It then cuts to Baena doing pull-ups.

“I always start my back pump with pull-up. An essential exercise for filling up the back and widening the lats!” explained the bodybuilding icon’s son. While Banea has live-streamed his entire back workout in the past, his reel neatly summed up every exercise he did during his latest pull day. Besides listing the exercises in the caption, he also showed how to do them in the video.

After the pull-ups, Baena did reverse grip pull-downs, which focuses on the lats and the back. The next two movements, close grip pull downs, and chest supported rows, focus on the mid back as well the lats. The 25-year-old finished his pull-day with barbell bicep curls “for the juicy pump.”

“Which workout next?” Baena asked in the caption. When a fan asked about a push-day video, Baena said he would upload one “ASAP.” While it wasn’t an instructional video, fans can replicate Baena’s back workout in the gym. Joseph Banena’s “Killer Pull-Day,” also looked quite similar to Schwarzenegger’s.

During his professional bodybuilding days, Arnold Schwarzenegger was ahead of the curve when it came down to bodybuilding knowledge. Decades later, in an exclusive interview with Bodybuilding.com, the bodybuilding legend spoke about how to build a thick and wide back.

According to the Austrian Oak, movements like the lat pull-down built a wide back, while rowing movements build back thickness. Joseph Baena seems to have taken his father’s advice, incorporating rowing movements into his workouts.
