In his recent newsletter, Pump Daily, Schwarzenegger revealed some of his tips to up one’s workout game. He also took some questions from fans on his Instagram. One of them asked the star for some tips for people starting fresh on their fitness journey. And the Terminator delivered his best.

From noteworthy pre-workouts to some of his podcast recommendations, Schwarzenegger had a platter of advice and suggestions for his readers.
Throughout various outlets, Schwarzenegger has often conducted Q&As and interactive sessions for his fans to speak to him. This time, he attached a question from his Instagram Q&A, submitted by a fan who wanted some workout advice. The question was, “Whats your advice for beginners”.
Schwarzenegger’s advice was straightforward. He wrote, “My advice to beginners is really simple: begin. And then don’t stop until it is a routine.” He correctly identified the problem of many beginners – the start to any kind of routine is the most difficult aspect. The former bodybuilder swore by starting slow and working up to reach the desired level of difficulty. Whether it’s a 30-minute walk, 3 pushups a day, or just 5 squats – the idea is to start and remain consistent till you feel you can work up. This is what Schwarzenegger himself follows, even as a 75-year-old.
Arnold’s workout ahead of Christmas pushed fans to do better
The Austrian Oak lives up to his name. After all, winning the Mr. Olympia title 7 times has had a major impact on his idea of fitness. Despite being over 70, Schwarzenegger swore to remain focused and dedicated to the pump that got him to where he is right now.

Ahead of Christmas in 2022, the star uploaded a video across various social media platforms of him working out to get the pump. Donning a red festive sweater and sunglasses, Schwarzenegger got down to pull up weights and get the holiday cheer going. Celebrating Christmas in his own way, the star proved that age is only a number.
