Being successful often comes with its quirks, such as stress and anxiety. But Arnold has probably the best solution for that as well.
Arnold Schwarzenegger meditates to cope with anxiety
Success doesn’t come easy. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. And becoming successful isn’t the end of the story either it’s about maintaining it for long. To stay successful, one needs to go across various situations in the mind and tackle the problems. And Arnold had a lot to think about.
As a bodybuilder, he trained hard and had to cope with the pressure of always winning. As an actor, he worried about his movies doing well. And as a politician, well, it’s better to leave it at ‘He was the Governor of California for eight years.’ Being the perfectionist he is, Arnold came up with the perfect way to deal with all the stress — meditation.

Arnold used to struggle with anxiety and body-image issues. But he found a way to cope with it through meditation. He practices sitting in silence and repeating a sound called ‘mantra’ for 15-20 minutes, two times a day.
For Schwarzenegger, anxiety was a big part of his life. He admits meditation helped him sort through things and deal with them healthily and logically, contrary to dealing with everything all at once.
Arnold’s body-image issues
Arnold has been a lot of things. He’s worn a lot of hats. And he’s looked good in all of them. But there was a time when Arnold wasn’t happy with how he looked. And to everyone’s surprise, it was when he was in top physical shape and winning bodybuilding competitions. He would look at himself and wonder how he won.
