Arnold Schwarzenegger Once Gave His Extremely Critical Opinion About Former President Barack Obama: “Something That He Was Not Successful..”

Former two-time president Barack Obama was surely one of the figures that come on that list. Arnold Schwarzenegger comments on Barack Obama’s career as the president

Although Arnold Schwarzenegger and former US president Barack Obama have different political opinions, the two share mutual respect and admiration for each other. Hence, when asked about the democratic president’s tenure, the bodybuilding legend chose to give a diplomatic answer.

He said, “I think there was some things that he was very successful under and some things that he was not successful but that’s the old story in politics.”

However, at the same time, Arnold also drew a comparison with his own tenure as the former Governor of California and further added, “I remember I went into the governorship in a very ambitious way and I had a long list of things that I wanted to accomplish. Well half of it was accomplished and the other half I didn’t so it’s easy but you have to shoot for the stars.”

Obama praised Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver

In one of their stage appearances, former president Barack Obama praised Schwarzenegger for his great leadership. Furthermore, he also asked the crowd to give the former governor and former first lady Maria Shriver a round of applause. It was an amazing moment to witness as the leaders from different political parties came together to talk about innovation. 

As the bodybuilding legend introduced the former President, he said, “It is very important that leaders work together.” Arnold has mentioned it repeatedly that as long as the nation’s and people’s progress is the first priority, political differences don’t matter. Perhaps that’s why they always get along with each other, even though they represented two different political alliances.
