Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently in Las Vegas for CES 2023. He visited the stage of one of the most influential tech events in the world for the BMW presentation. Being on stage in Sin City reminded Schwarzenegger of the price he had to pay for his sin. The ex-governor hilariously incorporated the aftermath of the biggest controversy of his life in the speech.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is worth approximately $450 million. Losing a few million wouldn’t make him bankrupt. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be bitter about it. But since his actions were responsible for what led to the loss, he ended up making a joke about it. Schwarzenegger had to pay millions of dollars as alimony to his now ex-wife, Maria Shriver. She had filed for divorce once Schwarzenegger’s extramarital affair was brought to light.

Once the news of Schwarzenegger’s affair with a house help with whom he fathered a child broke out in 2011, Maria Shriver filed for a divorce. However, it took ten years for the divorce to be finalized. During the court proceedings, initially, Schwarzenegger was asked to pay $400 million as alimony.

However, the millionaire refused to comply. It led to a decade-long battle. Eventually, in 2021, the divorce was finalized. Shriver is entitled to half of Schwarzenegger’s total income from the time of his marriage. It will also include Schwarzenegger’s pension money. The total amount is estimated to be in 7 figures.
