Chinedu Andrew Obiekea, better known to bodybuilding fans as Andrew Jacked, generated massive hype in 2022. After winning the Arnold Classic Amateur and the Texas Pro, his physique became the talk of the town. As tall as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Obiekea stands out for his balanced physique. However, many felt he could’ve done better at Mr. Olympia 2022. Obiekea later revealed he fell sick during the prep. While a top 10 finish at his first Mr. Olympia earned him praise, Andrew Jacked is looking for redemption.
Obiekea is going all out as he prepares for the Arnold Classic 2023. From changing camps to training like a maniac, Andrew Jacked is pulling out all the stops to win the second most prestigious annual bodybuilding competition. Obiekea’s latest workout video proves how much effort he is currently putting into his Arnold Classic prep.

After a lackluster performance at last year’s Mr. Olympia, Andrew Jacked began working with two well knows names in the bodybuilding world. Currently, Obiekea is working with renowned contest prep dietician Chris Aceto. He is also working with trainer Chris ‘Psycho’ Lewis. It’s evident in Obiekea’s latest training video that Lewis is pushing him to the limit.
In the video, Andrew Jacked does a set of tricep pull-downs on the cable machine. However, instead of the traditional grip, Obiekea crosses over one cable with another in an x-like pattern. After the initial set, Lewis does not allow the Nigerian bodybuilder to take any rest, and he immediately moves to one-handed tricep pull-downs. The intensity climbs as he switches from one arm to the other.

Despite his arms burning, Lewis pushes the bodybuilder to keep going. The exercise intensifies as Obiekea keeps switching arms with each one of Lewis’s taps on his back. Groaning in pain, Obiekea looks spent at the end of the set, but ‘Psycho’ has other plans. Lewis asks Andrew Jacked to flex his triceps with short pauses to sap out the last ounce of strength.
Chris ‘Psycho’ Lewis is a renowned trainer who has produced multiple Mr. Olympia winners. However, only time will tell if Obiekea finds success under Lewis.
Why is Andrew Jacked training like this?
Besides trying to prove that he wasn’t at a hundred percent during last year’s Mr. Olympia contest, Andrew Jacked knows he has to overcome tough competition. Fellow newcomer Samson Dauda is also preparing for the Arnold Classic 2023. Last year’s bronze medal winner, People’s champion, and 2021 Arnold Classic winner, Nick Walker, will also compete for the $300,000 reward.
