Quite often we see fitness freaks lifting heavy weights on social media. Fitness Vlogger Matt Morsia took things to another level when he lifted the mountain on his shoulder. Well, it wasn’t a literal mountain but the Icelandic professional strongman Hafthor Bjornsson aka The Mountain from Game of Thrones. Matt not only lifted the 344 pounds giant but also performed squats.

The crazy act has grabbed the eyes of viewers across various social media platforms. 

A five-round challenge with The Mountain

Matt Morsia has a history of working out with popular sporting celebrities like Eddie Hall. In his latest video, the fitness freak competed against the former Arnold Classic Champion. There were a series of different rounds but the highlight of the video came when both stars had to lift each other and perform squats. Considering the huge build of the Mountain, Bjornsson was having an advantage in the round.

But things didn’t go as the strongman would be expecting. Thor went first and completed four reps with Morsia on his shoulder and an additional plate in Morsia’s hands. Morsia was feeling a bit skeptical before lifting the giant as he said, “Am I going to die now” in the video. However, his performance shocked the viewers as he proudly executed five reps, winning the round.

The video showcased other challenges like the rope climb, sled pull, and dips and deads. The exercises were aimed at assessing their individual strength levels. Matt ended up winning the overall contest with a slight margin of 3-2. However, the fitness vlogger was shocked to see the exceptional strength of the star. However, this wasn’t the first time Thor shocked its viewers with his explosive power.

The Game of Thrones has given him an image of a giant who doesn’t feel pain. And his workout videos completely justify the narrative. Recently, Thor posted his deadlift videos on his Instagram handle. The Icelandic lifter was lifting an exceptional weight of 330kg. However, the giant made it look like one of the most comfortable things.
