The man making these shocking headlines is Chuck Kirkendall, popularly called by his alias Kali Muscles. This once veteran bodybuilder and competitor boasts not of majestic physique and size but also has his name in Hollywood. Courtesy, working for films like ‘Wonder Woman(2011)’ and ‘The Dog Who Saved The Holidays.’
Bodybuilder takes on the bodybuilding world head-on
Kali, who was once in the run to get into the same ranks as legends like Arnold Schwarzenegger now has far removed himself from the regular throes of competing in bodybuilding meets. He urged his fans to stay away from them as well. This beast suffered a massive heart attack around the end of last year.
When rushed to the hospital, doctors reported that one of his arteries was 100% clogged in a near-fatal situation. Kali(46) has since then set out on a new mission, to make his fans and followers aware of the potential dangers of the sport. This fitness influencer and YouTuber has around 2.67 million subscribers on his channel and urges the viewers to concentrate more on overall fitness rather than jumping on the bodybuilding bandwagon.
In a recent youtube video, Kali was heard stating, “Health is wealth, man. Everybody out here, most of you all want to be jacked, swole, buff, that’s cool but make it realistic. Stay as natural as possible, eat as healthy as possible…”. This might be an indicator of the higher injury and mortality rates of most pro-bodybuilders.
He was heard saying more about how unhealthy competing is. “F competing in bodybuilding competitions because all you are is a f**king test dummy.” was his final verdict.
