Sitting for the podcast, Dr. Adeel Khan opened up about the time when he called Ronnie Coleman in an attempt to help with his pain. However, as he reflects- upon calling Coleman, he realized that the bodybuilder has already undergone stem cell treatment as a measure to get rid of his menacing pain. Narrating the discussion, Dr. Khan revealed how the bodybuilder informed him that he had already gone to Mexico to get the IV stem cell treatment.

In an attempt to reiterate how the procedure benefitted Coleman, Dr. Khan quoted how he replied to him back, saying, “all my Pain’s gone.” For those unversed, during this professional career, Coleman had to undergo 13 major surgeries on his spine and two hip-replacement surgeries. He also had to undergo multiple other treatments to alleviate the pain he suffered from his intervertebral disks.

The condition was so severe that it was also hinted by the medical experts that he would be losing his mobility completely. Needless to say, from undergoing all the surgeries, the pain he suffered was excruciating. A “10/10”, as he would often remark. But since he underwent stem cell treatment, his condition has greatly improved. However, in the bodybuilding circuit, Coleman is not the only bodybuilder who opted for this treatment.

Big Ramy undergoes stem cell treatment

After facing a thrashing defeat in 2022, Mr. Olympia, Mamdouh Mohammed Hassan Elssbiay, A.K.A., Big Ramy, took a step back to re-evaluate his health. He opted for stem cell treatment for treating his damaged nerves. With this, the 2X bodybuilder has now joined Ronnie Coleman in getting benefits from the treatment. Though stem cell remains a relatively new medical procedure and there are opinions of varying degrees, Coleman and Ramy had very positive experiences.
