Time and again, Coleman has revealed his biggest regret: not squatting for 800 lbs for more reps. He regretted doing only 2 reps and believed he “could do at least 3-4 more.” However, to do away with his father’s regret, his self-proclaimed son West decides to take matters into his own hands. Before Coleman joins West in the gym, the young bodybuilder smartly camouflages fake weights in the gym.
Knowing his true potential, he adopts trickery to make his father smile. “So it is up to me to make my biological father proud by lifting some insane weight that he was never able to do! 800 LBS for more than 2 reps,” remarks West as he gives the fan a sneak peek into the plan.

Strategically planting the weights to ensure that Coleman has no clue, West tries his best not to get caught. As the 23-year-old perfected the exercises, the proud father cheered the loudest. Seeing him root for him so passionately, West got a little emotional and remarked, “First time in a long time, I felt like a son.”
In no mood to keep Coleman under deception, West soon revealed his whole prank. Taking it as a sport, the veteran bodybuilder jokingly said, “Ah man, you fooling me.” As for West, even though he adopted deception, his intentions were right at the place all he wanted, as he quotes, “my father’s love and respect.”
Making Coleman proud:
As Coleman joins West in the gym, the two connected instantly. Dressed in the same fashion, the duo talked about bodybuilding and had the best time together at the gym. Starting with lightweight, West began his routine with a set of 12 back squats at 600 pounds. As Coleman cheered for West, the young bodybuilder did his best to win over The King.
