During his two decades of career, Sarcev won and participated in several events of the sport. Every time he stood in front of the audience, the Serbian pro marked his dominance with his beastly physique and well-conditioned body. He appeared in the Olympias, Grand Prixes, NOCs, and many other events. But there was a time when he faced a setback.

As per his latest interview on Muscle and Fitness, Sarcev met with a terrible shoulder injury weeks before taking part in the 2001 Night of Champions. While answering whether he had a surgery, the bodybuilder confirmed, “Yeah I had a shoulder surgery.”

Moreover, the legend further shared, “In eight weeks I supposed to compete and somebody from the office, came I remember and I was in a brace but I had to take it off and act like it’s okay.” In fact, he performed at the event and ended up in the 10th place.

As Sarcev recalled, he did all that simply because “I [he] didn’t want to lose the contract.” He further shared that it was a tough phase, as the bodybuilder had to attend every show in 1999. In addition, he also faced another setback when he tore his quad in 2002. Thus, it was indeed very important for the bodybuilder to show up, conquering all his odds.
