When it comes to bodybuilding, Lou Ferrigno needs no introduction. Despite never being able to taste the glory of Mr. Olympia, Lou Ferrigno, is one of the most respected bodybuilders out there. Ferrigno even won the IFBB Mr. Universe title two consecutive times. As a kid, he was diagnosed with 80–85% hearing loss, which gave him a lot of trouble throughout his bodybuilding and acting careers. Despite all that, he didn’t give up and achieved what he always wanted to.

Lou Ferrigno is known for his role as Hulk in the Incredible Hulk series. As a well-known Hollywood actor, he has received numerous film contracts. Recently, a horror movie that is yet to be released called “The Hermit” has the bodybuilding legend involved in a horror role. But things didn’t turn out well.

What really happened?

The production of the film “The Hermit” was halted because of several issues. Starting with an actor’s injury and ending up with a pay dispute between some workers.

The film’s producer, Gerry Pass, revealed that around $24,000 worth of grip and electrical equipment was stolen. That’s a huge loss for the whole team working on the film. The police report regarding this was filed in Syracuse.

As all the issues weren’t a lot for the producer. The previous investors, who promised to give around $200,000, gave only 10% of it. This also led to a major problem, as money really matters in this kind of project.

In the end, even the weather isn’t in the favor of Pass as the season of shooting has changed. Completing the film will be a real challenge, for sure!

Role of Lou Ferrigno

The Incredible Hulk himself will be performing a different kind of role this time. Lou Ferrigno will play the role of a murderous, cannibalistic pig farmer who cooks people and makes them jerky.

This would be his first time playing a horror role, as well as the first time since he began acting in 1977.

The producer has high hopes, as the footage that has already been shot has turned out to be really good for him. Although fans of the Incredible Hulk are waiting for his comeback in a different role on the big screen.
