“A Woman at the Arnold Classic Crushing Watermelons Between Her Legs” Led Arnold Schwarzenegger to a Strange Epiphany in 2018

In 2018, in an interview for the Robert Irvine magazine, Schwarzenegger was asked what most people wanted to know, his secret to success.

While answering the question, Arnie recalled an incident that occurred during the Arnold Classic. Explaining his ideology by using the incident as an example, Schwarzenegger shared how one can make it big in life. Stressing the thing Schwarzenegger thinks one needs to succeed in life, he shared some words of wisdom for the readers.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shares his success secret

In an interview for the March 2018 issue of the Robert Irvine magazine, Schwarzenegger spoke about the factor that unified his success. He revealed that factor to be “passion.” Schwarzenegger stressed that one needs to be passionate about what one does in order to succeed. Without passion, they’d lack the zeal and creativity to achieve success.

Further explaining his point, Schwarzenegger gave an example of a woman he once saw during the Arnold Classic. The 7x Mr. Olympia said, “There was a woman at the Arnold Classic and she crushed a watermelon between her legs. As I’m walking away, the thing that came to mind was not ‘Oh, she’s crazy’ but I said to myself ‘She found what she could shine in.’”

“There was a huge amount of people standing around her because she was squeezing one watermelon after the next between her legs, which none of us can do—and crushing it!” he added. He summed it up by saying that the girl stood out in the crowd because she was passionate and enjoyed what she did.

Schwarzenegger talked about his passion

Schwarzenegger added that he was lucky to find things he was perfervid about. Bodybuilding and weightlifting enticed him when he was a 14-year-old kid. Once he had gained his due success in the field, he got interested in acting. “…later on with entertainment when I fell totally in love with being in front of the camera and performing,” said the Terminator actor.

Schwarzenegger also mentioned he never dreamed that one day he’ll be giving something back to his country through his work. He shared that he grew and developed new passions along the way. He added that he still remembers the highs of success in every field and that the adrenaline rush kept him going.
