Philip Jerrod Heath, aka Phil Heath, is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder best known for winning the Mr. Olympia title every year from 2011 to 2017. Even though the 47-year-old stays away from competing professionally, he remains active in bodybuilding. From working out in the gym to attending various events to promote the sport, the bodybuilding legend shares all his updates on his social media.
Ending the first month of 2023 on a high note, the modern bodybuilding star posted a short clip of himself on his official Instagram profile.

Dressed in a comfy grey sweatshirt, Heath was seen standing next to the kitchen table as he poured himself a glass of limited edition Barrel Strength. He expressed his optimism toward a new beginning, and talked about how he had a hectic last week.
Sharing a quick update, Heath wrote, “Just finished a 2 week cleanse and a dry January (minus today 🤣) .” After having an eventful January, he thus looks forward to having a more relaxed February. Sharing his excitement, he added, “I’m excited for February as it’s one hell of a busy month💪🏽 .”

Adding more Heath stated, “I missed having a nightcap of @codigo1530 and thought what better way to end this month that felt like a year 🤣 Cheers y’all 🥃 .” Sharing the short clip with his fans on his Instagram page, he looked cheerful. Known for his unfiltered self, yesteryear’s bodybuilding star Heath recently talked about the sense of entitlement in new-age bodybuilders.
Heath talks about new-age bodybuilders
Having competed against Kai Greene, Dexter Jackson, and others, Heath is well-versed in the intricacies of the sport. Thus, when he saw a sense of achievement in the new-age bodybuilders, the star could not hold back his thoughts. Opening up in the recent The Mike O’Hearn Show, he adds, “People overall just being kind of soft. You’ve been able to see that quite a bit. And what I mean by soft is entitled. They don’t really know the difficulties of what it was like to be a pro back in the day.”

He also agrees with fitness author, Frank Sepe’s perspective, where the latter says that present-day bodybuilders expect to get a pro card just after two contests. There are often speculations that Heath is ready to make comeback, but the bodybuilding masters remain tight-lipped about them. Neither does he accept, nor deny.
