Advice from the legendary bodybuilder Ronnie Coleman is always a blessing for anyone who is into fitness. The bodybuilder in an interview once shared some essential tips on supplement intake and nutrition with people new to the fitness or bodybuilding world. Since the new year is right around the corner, the legendary Coleman’s advice would be a perfect way to start the ‘fitness resolutions’.

 

One of the greatest bodybuilders, Coleman is always eager to help and guide the young generation of bodybuilders and fitness models. Although Coleman is known for his hardcore training routine, the bodybuilder is also particular about his diet and supplement intake.

During an interview with Men’s Health magazine earlier this year, the 8x Mr. Olympia shared various tips and techniques for his fans and followers. Amongst this, Coleman also shared three must-have supplements everyone should include at the beginning of their fitness journey. He said, “The basics in my opinion are a multivitamin, amino acids (BCAA), and whey protein isolate. The isolate is lower calorie, and it’s easier to digest. There are others, of course, but those in my opinion are the absolute must-haves.”

While supplements are necessary for one’s bodybuilding journey, so is a proper diet. Coleman further added, “Food is obviously very important too, but I don’t put one over the other. You need to pay serious attention to both.”

Coleman has not only shared his knowledge and expertise on supplements, but also he shared his insane diet routine and how he maintained a balance between all the nutritional value in his food.

Besides his record Mr. Olympia titles and incredible body, Coleman is also known for his epic diet. During another interview, “The King” revealed the importance of protein in his diet.

However, he also pointed out how he maintained a balanced diet to achieve his fitness goals. Coleman’s diet includes 65% protein, 20-25% carbs, and 5-10% fat. His diet is heavily meat-based and has loads of eggs and fish meals.
