Austrian bodybuilding figure, Helmut Strebl is dropping jaws with his insanely low-on-fat proportions. He is extremely popular in the fitness sphere because of his lean and defined body frame. However, he didn’t embark on his fitness journey solely for maintaining his physical appearance.
In an interview with Simplyshredded.com, the 54-year-old fitness model talks about his cut-up body and being an inspiration to many enthusiasts. Moreover, he has gained significant recognition in the social media domains like Facebook and Reddit in the past years.

The athlete has been unofficially awarded the title of “the most shredded man in the world,” by netizens, in lieu of his mind-numbing pictures. His body functions on a 4% fat composition that gives him a highly anatomical look, flaunting every fiber of his muscles.
However, obtaining such a low-fat percentage may not be every enthusiast’s dream. Strebl does so to maintain his slender form. In the interview, he talks about how he found his way to the fitness community at 12, to protect himself from bullies. “At 12 years old, I was a skinny weakling and an easy prey for bullies as I stood out in absolute contrast to a schoolmate who was a muscle machine.”, he explains to Simplyshredded.com
Talking about his initial days of training, he adds how he would use water jars, as a rookie. He says, “My first pair of weights was five kilos a piece. This was two bottles of washing detergent, filled with water though. I did not have proper dumbbells until a few years later.”

Furthermore, he hit an actual gym only at the age of 16, and credits his immense success to the systematic and orderly workout regimes he focuses on. Moreover, Strebl prioritizes toning each muscle category, in addition to a greatly structured diet. Inspired by him, a social media influencer once tried out his diet plan.

Aseel Soueid, a YouTuber who creates content under his niche of trying out diet routines set by various bodybuilders and athletes, took up the challenge of trying out Strebl’s. Initially, he remarked on the plan saying, “It makes no sense whatsoever.”

Nevertheless, taking on the meals, he said, “How in the world, the most shredded man drinks calories like this, especially 80 grams worth of carbs worth of calories? I have no idea”. Apparently, the fitness icon’s diet involved several eggs, bagels, and jam. In addition, he also consumes high amounts of protein and carbs regularly. The bizarre diet blew off Soueid’s mission.
