Bodybuilding is more than just a sport and Wendy Levra is proof of it. Her story is a testimony that no age is too late to fall in love with pumping iron. Levra began lifting weights at 35 while being in a toxic matrimonial relationship. Eventually, she left a job in insurance to become a personal trainer. Her husband mocked her decision, but did she care?
Unperturbed by the outward negativity, she continued her grind and transformed into a bodybuilding pro with spectacular physicality of 15-inch biceps, 24-inch quads, and a 37-inch chest. But it wasn’t an easy run.

Dealing with criticism is inevitable as Wendy chose the less trodden path – taking charge of her life, no matter what. Wendy birthed a child at the tender age of 17. Hence, she had to discontinue her schooling. Her elder son, aged 25, has a family of his own, and Wendy is also a grandparent of a baby girl.

After ending her broken marriage, she began dating Sean, a bodybuilder 15 years younger than her. While the world perceives her as a cougar, she views herself as a puma. “I am not old enough to be a cougar, yet Sean also gets along great with my children,” she said in an exclusive interview with The Sun.
Furthermore, she shared that her son viewed Sean with a critical eye as he was a bodybuilder. Over time, they became good friends, and “age has never been a problem with us.”
