He said, “Getting in tip-top shape takes about four months, but you are always training. I start in June and I end in September. … During those four months, every day is the same. It’s like Groundhog Day for me.”
Furthermore, the retired IFBB Pro also discussed how his entire day is molded around eating food. “ I eat, pretty much, 24 hours a day. I eat around seven meals, and I eat protein-carbohydrate combos.” He added, “I eat every 2 ½ hours. It takes me about 45 minutes to eat each meal, and it takes 15 to 20 minutes of prepping time.”

“I eat almost a pound of meat or fish every meal. I eat a pound of potatoes or rice every meal, and I eat between 4,000 and 6,000 calories per day,” the 49-year-old said, “I’m training four times a day, and I sleep 6 to 8 hours. So, if you calculate the time of the day together, there’s really not much else going on in my life.”
