However, it turns out that the gym was a place for her to make new friends and work out better. The sport eventually grew on her. She revealed, “I ended up really falling in love with the bodybuilding process and it became my passion and hobby.” The star soon found the motivation to register for the National Amateur Bodybuilders’ Association (NABBA) championship.
She began training under coach Dennis Phillips, who was an amateur bodybuilding champion himself. In 2018, she stood third in her first NABBA championship. And in 2022, she impressed the judges and won her first NABBA title. Success didn’t arrive easily. Worboys had to work hard and face failures before winning the title. In fact, her failures and the pandemic only motivated her to work harder and show the world what she could achieve. Melissa swore by consistency and having a persistent nature.
