In his latest post, Blessing Awodibu showed off his current physique. The Mr. Olympia contestant uploaded four pictures and a video. The images show Awodibu hitting three poses; the front double-biceps, side chest, and back double-biceps. However, the photo in the last slide captured the moment Awodibu nearly met with a massive injury.

In the picture, Awodibu is wincing with pain on the hack-squat machine loaded with five plates on each side. While performing a rep, the Indy Pro winner suddenly stopped and grabbed his right upper quad while wincing in pain. Even after putting the machine in the locked position and easing the pressure, Awodibu continued to wince in pain.

Someone else said, “do you want the massage gun?” However, the bodybuilding star said he didn’t. “Lil accident using the hack squat yesterday but thank God nothing serious,” Awodibu wrote in the caption of his Instagram post. While the Irishman often lifts heavy on the hack-squat machine, he might have encountered a severe muscle cramp. However, the bodybuilder also had some good news for his fans.

The bodybuilding star has big plans for the future

While the first line of Awodibu’s caption might have concerned fans, he also had some good news for them. “Lil update: 4 weeks in 290, another 3 months of growing before prep. Pushing (an) insane amount of food rn & the progress is lit. Taking this physique to a whole other level this year. Stay tuned,”  Blessing Awodibu wrote in the caption.
