Phil Heath is the face of modern-day bodybuilding. Having won the competition for seven consecutive years between 2011-2017, he redefined the sport. With a height of 5’9, 54″ impressive chest, 23″ arm, and 29″ waist, his presence on stage was hard to miss out. He did not just leave the panel impressed but also made his competitors envy him.

Though he never formally announced his retirement from the sport, he refrains from participation. Now, with a recent video drop, speculations about his comeback are doing the rounds.
Is Phil set for a comeback?
Two weeks prior, a series of videos of Phil Heath was posted on the official Instagram handle of Fitness Volt Network. In the shared videos, Phil was spotted in the gym. Wearing loose-fit gray gym wear, black shorts, and gray sneakers, the champion said, “I’m in here doing my thing.”

As he walks around the gym shooting with his phone, the legend in the shared video sounds confident. He adds, “in here, getting better… feels really good being a lot more functional, thank goodness. But yeah, I had one early session today.” For the unversed, last year Phil was diagnosed with Covid, due to which he lost a lot of muscle mass.
However, the legend’s spirit remained uncrushed. Taking it slow, he adds, “I just got done doing legs. Now I’m in here doing some sled work. Working on my sprinter form. Yeah, man. Totally rebuilding my physique.” As the year ends, Phil is looking forward to the following year. He makes it clear, “2023 is about to be fuc**ng crazy.”
