Arnold Schwarzenegger on Ali and Tyson
In a past interview with Logan Paul, we look back at the moment when Arnold wanted to inspire people. From being a legendary bodybuilder, he found happiness in helping people to realize and work their way towards their goals. No matter the circumstances, he wanted everybody to focus on the future ahead, and he found pride in helping people. The two examples he brought to the table are Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
Significantly, these two conquered the boxing division like no other athletes. They came from humble beginnings to become the champions they are right now. Schwarzenegger spoke about their mentality and how they are role models for everybody.
“Look at Muhammad Ali, look at Mike Tyson. These are people who came from nothing and they worked their way up and they became something. It can be done. This is what it’s all about, inspiring people,” said Schwarzenegger.
Two icons of boxing
Ali and Tyson were two of the biggest stars in boxing. Ali was the first boxer to win the world heavyweight championship on three separate occasions. Apart from that, he successfully defended the title 19 times. Born in humble surroundings, his father Cassius Marcellus Clay, Sr., and mother, Odessa Grady Clay, struggled to bring him up. His father painted billboards and signs to help him reach his goals.

Meanwhile, Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in the history of boxing. Often being in trouble at a very young age, renowned trainer Cus D’Amato took him under his tutelage and developed him into a beast. Thus, these two legends came a long way to become the sensational superstars we know today. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson are three legends that cannot be forgotten.
