With his final performance in the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, one chapter has finally ended for the American star athlete Shaun White. Now it’s time he should move on to the next adventures in his life. Even though he couldn’t win his fourth Olympic gold medal at Beijing, the champion has led an outstanding career.

The three-time Olympic gold medalist finished fourth in the men’s snowboard halfpipe event this Friday. Since it was his final run at the Olympics, after the event, he said, ?I?ve given it my all. There have been some ups and downs on the way to get here. And with that I feel I?ve got stronger and better.?

Shaun White is also a champion skateboarder

Most people know Shaun White as a champion snowboarder, but the 35-year-old American star is also proficient at skating. He started doing both from an early age and he has often said that snowboarding helped him to become skilled at skateboarding. In fact, his decision to retire from snowboarding was influenced by his mentor Tony Hawk.

After the legend bid goodbye to snowboarding his skating mentor, Tony shared a story on his Instagram handle saying “Congrats @ shaunwhite on your epic competitive career, time to skate again”

Shaun White’s skating Career

Before indulging full time in snowboarding, Shaun White was a popular skateboarder and the most authentic proof of it would be the Shaun White skateboarding, video game. He was a champion in Summer X Games and won two golds in 2007 and 2011. The American star also has two silver and a bronze medals at Summer X Games under his name.

The 35-year-old Shaun White still has so much to offer and completing a journey only means he should start with another one. However, like all his decisions, moving on to skateboarding will be completely up to him. Though fans would love to watch the champion skate once again.
