After nearly two decades of dominance, Shaun White has ended his snowboarding career. One of the best snowboarders in the world, Shaun, had his final say on proceedings today. The sensational White has ended his career after a dream run in the Olympics. He scored 72.00 in his first run, starting the proceeding with simple tricks and flips. In the second run, he raised his game up, scoring 85.00, hoping to at least get a bronze medal. In the final run of his career, White landed two perfect tricks but faltered at the end of the third one.

On the business end, White’s biggest rival, Ayumu Hirano, won the gold medal with a sensational final run by scoring 96.00. Australia’s James Scotty led the competition until the second run, but Hirano proved why he is the best snowboarder in the world right now after this victory in Beijing.
