21-year-old American Snowboarder Chloe Kim made history on February 10 at the Beijing Winter Olympics. Chloe won the Gold at the women’s halfpipe event and in doing so, she became the first woman to defend her gold medal at the halfpipe event. In fact, the only male athlete to have achieved that feat is decorated American snowboarder Shaun White.
Chloe has garnered praise and worldwide fame for her two gold medals. However, that is not the only thing she has made a name for herself for. Her love for eating, especially snacking on churros, is something she is quite vocal about.
After winning her second gold medal, Kim even asked the reporters in the post-event press conference if they had snacks!

Chloe Kim asks reporters for snacks after winning Gold
Chloe Kim won the gold medal in the women’s halfpipe?at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. However, in the post-event press conference, there were some other things on her mind too.
Chloe Kim certainly likes her snacks, as was evident from her vocal love for churros. In her press conference, she even asked reporters present there if they had any snacks for her!

“Also if anybody has some snacks in their pockets maybe?” Chloe asked sheepishly as the room full of reporters erupted in laughter.
“I’m starving, it’s lunchtime!” Chloe said, as some reporters even came forward to give her some snacks! One reporter gave her a chocolate bar, while another provided a pack of biscuits.
“Do you want to eat first?” a reporter asked, to which Chloe Kim replied, “it’s okay, I’ll wait.”
In fact, everyone in the room roared with laughter as a member of the staff, too, came with another snack for her. Moreover, Chloe even exchanged a pack of biscuits with them.
Clearly, the two-time Olympic gold medalist has her priorities straight. Furthermore, one can always count on her to know when lunchtime has rolled around!
Olympian heaped praise on Chloe
The whole world cheered on as Chloe Kim made history at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022, and so did her compatriots.

Shaun White, legendary American snowboarder and three-time Olympic gold medalist who just retired after the 2022 Winter Olympics, praised Chloe’s victory, calling it “very well deserved”.
Furthermore, the greatest Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, too, congratulated her, writing “congrats!!!”, while reposting a photograph of a triumphant Chloe Kim in the snow.

Even two-time Olympic gold-medalist Gabrielle Thomas referred to Chloe Kim’s love for churros. She asked Chloe if she should begin bingeing on the snacks before her events as well in order to ensure success.
Truly, Kim has achieved marvels and being only 21 still, there is no doubt that she will continue to write and rewrite history in what is certainly going to be a marvelous career.
