35-year-old legendary snowboarder Shaun White finally called quits on his glorious Olympic career after the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. Now, White is going to tend to everything he couldn’t, owing to the hectic schedule of a world-class athlete.

Sadly, he failed to secure a medal, in any event, this time at the Beijing Winter Olympics. Nevertheless, he still remains the only male snowboarder to successfully defend their Olympic championship. Moreover, he also holds the record for the most number of Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder, too.

White now shares a lot of his wisdom and personal experiences in an interview with the ‘Today Show’. In fact, he even reveals what music he is into, and which tunes get him geared up for carving ice.

Shaun White shares his music choice before runs

Three-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White sure likes his tunes before he takes to the ice. Talking to the Today Show, White answered plenty of snowboarding questions that everyone wants to ask.

Eventually, the conversation came down to whether or not snowboarders and skiers like each other. Answering that the two types of athletes used to not like each other, he shared that it is in the past. Now, things have changed.

However, he still pointed out how skiing is based on maniacally ensuring how to shave seconds off one’s total time. On the other hand, when it comes to snowboarding, it’s all about the personal style and music taste that runs the sport.

Naturally, this led to the question of what kind of music Shaun White himself enjoys during his runs. White then revealed that he likes artists likes Aretha Franklin, Al Green, and Frank Sinatra. Clearly, Shaun is an old soul and so his music taste makes it apparent, with the heavy influence of the R&B and soul genre.
