Making history at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Chloe Kim is back on top. After some years of hiatus from her favorite sport, she returned to her favorite sport after college. She is a born snowboarder as she yet again claimed her gold medal. However, the time the secret to success is not straightforward. Kim attended the famous Princeton University but found it hard to adjust to the new surroundings.

Being an Olympic gold medalist and going to college would mean trouble. The fame, success, and glory would automatically be a catalyst for her classmates to chase her. This caused a lot of trouble for Kim. Thus, her life changed from there as she talked about her Princeton days.
Chloe Kim is not at Princeton University
Back when she found fame in snowboarding by winning her first gold medal, Kim quit her favorite sport to focus on getting a degree. She enrolled for an anthropology degree, in spite, of wanting chemistry at first. But, things did not go well as planned. She could not handle the pressures of being famous and wanted to be a normal person like everybody else. Kim spoke about the problems she had adjusting to her life with her college mates.
“I don’t want to be here as the snowboarder. I want to be here as a student. I want to be like everyone else. I want to be normal. That’s why I came here. And I was like, ‘No, you can’t get a photo with me. I don’t want this to be a thing, because it’s going to make me uncomfortable,” said Kim.

With all that happened in her life, she decided to end the 22 months hiatus. Kim itched back to the sport after being devoid of all the other issues she had. Moreover, she tweeted about heading back to snowboarding and focusing on her future endeavors. Thus, Kim was back after a break from snowboarding as Princeton plans are on hold.

Kim wins another gold medal
With all the success behind her, she once again started practicing for the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. Competing at the highest level is important for her as she got back to the sport. Hence, her second gold medal victory solidified her position as one of the greatest snowboarders in the sport’s history. Taking a step back from the sport, gave her a clearer perspective of what she needed to do to become successful. Thus, Kim is back with a bang.
She is one of the best snowboarders in the world right now. Attempting the famous cab 1260 trick was a testament to her ability in snowboarding. That would be her next goal. To land that famous trick. Whether she can do, is something that fans need to wait for. Kim is a bonafide legend and her Princeton days might be over?
