On October 24, Nice Kicks posted an intriguing tweet on X. According to the tweet, “Air Jordan 6 “Olympics” are set for 2024.” The pair worn by California-based athlete Ray Allen and assistant coach of Milwaukee Bucks, Vin Baker, to clinch gold for the USA in basketball against team France in the 2000 Summer Olympics will hit the shelves again with a new look in Fall 2024.

Since the 2000 Olympics, the shoes have only been seen once in the 2012 Olympics held in London. The original pair with white, red, blue, and red colors representing patriotic sentiment was slightly revamped. In the 2012 event, the kicks also possessed stripping on the midsole part of the shoe.

Interestingly, this news comes weeks after the billion-dollar brand decided to join hands with the Olympic Refugee Foundation to help young people. This initiative has started for the Olympics to help young girls and women affected by displacement.
