The rejection that changed everything

Chris Staples has always played several sports, but basketball has always been his first love. The splendid dunking machine had learned how to execute 360 and windmill dunks the very year he scored his first dunk. However, Staples didn’t make it to the basketball team of his high school in his senior year. Unfortunately, he was caught in a class while the basketball tryouts were going on and sadly missed them. The school basketball coach didn’t allow him another chance because of this.

Although unwillingly, Staples participated in the track team of his school and earned several honors. He soon turned into an all-state sprinter who regularly made it to the headlines. According to Staples, he always made sure to post the paper on the basketball coach’s door to let him know he made it to the newspapers again. Staples luckily shifted back to dunking after a topsy-turvy journey and is a world-famous athlete now. In fact, his skills also landed him in a slam dunk movie as a lead actor.
